Purchase of plots or request to bury: When making any cemetery arrangements at any of Buck Creek Township owned cemeteries, the Township requires appropriate documentation for the burial plot. Once this information is received, we will review and respond within 24 hours with written consent to bury. We will need the plot location, receipt of sale, type of plot (single, double, or family), as well as the type of grave liner. Vaults along with Urn Vaults are required for each burial in accordance with all appropriate documentation.
All purchases of plots should come from the deeded cemetery owner to be valid.
Certificate of insurance: Before any work is done in any of the Buck Creek Cemeteries a certificate of insurance must be presented to the Township Trustee along with a description of the work to be preformed. Examples are digging a grave, pouring a foundation, placing stones, any repair work. At that time, the Trustee approve or deny and sign off on the request.
Permission to clean and restore monuments: Please contact the Trustee’s office to obtain the form to authorize permission to clean and restore any of the monuments in any Buck Creek Township cemetery. These requests can be emailed to [email protected].
